LA COLLECTION VOYAGEUSE [FULL]

La collection voyageuse, a mediation program initiated in 2018 by artist Celia Pym and since pursued by NMNM’s educational teams, exceptionally lands on the Opéra Garnier stage for a tactile, sensitive and participatory presentation. Célia Bernasconi, chief curator at the NMNM, Noémie Margotteau, textile heritage restorer, and Sinem Bostanci, mediator, will address the issues of preservation, repair and transmission of costume and accessory items from the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, deposited by the Société des Bains de Mer at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco since 2002.

At the end of the workshop, La collection voyageuse will remain open until 6pm.

As part of the 28th European Heritage Days organized by the Institut du Patrimoine, under the aegis of the Direction des Affaires Culturelles.
