Emilio Ambasz

Architect and designer Emilio Ambasz, born in Argentina in 1943 and Monegasque resident, inaugurated Hors Circuit – the NMNM’s public programme – on January 19, 2013 at Villa Paloma as part of the MONACOPOLIS exhibition. 

Pioneer of an architecture which aims at “giving back the built environment to Nature,” he developed his concept of Green over Grey – the title of his exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum in 2010 – through a video presentation of its most important projects and buildings. The audience was also able to discuss his development proposal for the Port de la Condamine, presented in 1998.
